We all have an incredible capacity for change. If you are feeling as though something is missing, or you're not quite "yourself", we can work together to help you find your way back into connection with yourself, and others. If you feel haunted by difficult feelings and want to find a way to heal the wounds of the past, you have the capacity for this. Many of us will come to a place in our lives where we feel overwhelmed or struggle to cope with our circumstances. As your counsellor, I will meet you in this difficult place, and work with you to find the steps you can take towards healing and living the life you deserve.

Areas of Practice
Have you experienced something overwhelming, and feel stuck with the effects such as anxiety, nightmares, flashbacks, hyper vigilance, or physical symptoms? I have specialized training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, an approach found effective for resolving trauma wounds. Whether historical or more recent, we can work together to resolve trauma symptoms and allow you to move forward with greater ease.
Recently made a big change, or considering making a change? Experiencing stress due to change, or life being overwhelming? Change can be exciting, but it can also be intense and confusing. Getting support to understand your experience and adjust to your new world can promote growth, personal understanding, and resilience.
Not feeling quite yourself, perhaps struggling with sleep or no longer enjoying activities you once did? Are symptoms of anxiety getting in your way of enjoying your life? Together we can work towards understanding your experience and build coping strategies to overcome your symptoms.
Has alcohol or drug use, or other compulsive behaviours, begun to get in the way of healthy living and healthy relationships? With over 10 years experience working with individuals struggling with substance use, I can support you in learning strategies to deal with daily stressors differently, understand triggers and cravings, and re-establish healthy relationships with yourself and others.
Grief does not fit nicely in a box, and you do not need to be on your journey alone. Having space to talk about your loss and connect with your emotions can help pave your path to healing.
